I don’t use a loom. This piece was handwoven directly into the frame and I used different types of yarns.
Artist Description
This piece was inspired by the beautiful Mountains of the Carolinas.
I selected different types of yarn to create this unique piece by giving it a lot of texture with the different layers and shades of colors by hand weaving the pieces of yarn directly into the frame. I chose a wooden frame with wide borders to give my piece a unique look.
