Risograph on Sticky Notes and Coffee Stained Paper Assembled in a Filing Cabinet
Artist Description
My mind is an echo chamber of resounding thoughts compelled by the constant pessimism of the of my internal monologue. Each piece I make is a letter to someone or somewhere that has troubled me. In this action, I dispel the thoughts to find solace. Dear Life became a physical letter that I wrote to someone I lost and took the blame for their life. This letter was written and printed on the inside of each origami frog as they infest the haggard filing cabinet. These frogs have become the vessels for my messages that I can not confront someone face to face with. Unfortunately, I no longer have the opportunity to grow brave and share my message. My guilt is now only for the frogs and I to know.
