Artist Description

I used bold colors of oil paint to showcase the stages of my life and how they felt to me through self portraits. Each of the four self portraits are from a core point in my life where my choice in hairstyle, glasses, and jewelry changed. The colors I chose depended on how I felt at the moment the reference pictures were taken or how I felt looking back at those images at the time of creation. Regardless, each color palette is vibrant, as color and creativity were the constant factor throughout my “evolution.”
