Artist Description

This piece was made using various neon oil paints and a top layer of glitter to emulate the feeling of  night-life. The color choices mimic the lighting  in clubs or bars, casting shadows over the faces of the crowd around you and altering the way you experience the world. The glitter is to further push that concept, playing off of the idea of the “going-out” outfits, hair tinsel, and sparkly makeup that people wear when they go to these freeing, electric spaces.
