My work, “Complementary Forces,” is inspired by the ancient yin-yang symbol, this piece reimagines the concept with a pair of intertwining dragons, a powerful symbol of energy and harmony. The swirling vortex of bright, contrasting colors that surrounds them represents the dynamic and ever-changing nature of life. This piece is a visual meditation on the idea that these seemingly opposite forces are not in conflict but are, in fact, essential parts of a single, unified whole. It celebrates the beauty of their dance, the power in their balance, and the vibrant life that emerges from their harmonious coexistence.
