This wooded landscape is based on a photo taken by a local artist in the golden coast area Chip Piler. He gave me permission to brighten the woods and make them colorful and bright. His original photo was taken on a rainy day.

The landscape was created on sanded UART 400 grade paper to give texture. Sennelier, Rembrandt and Richeson pastels were utilized to create the vibrant colors and needed values.
