The inspiration for this piece was the joy of moving into my art studio. It took almost three years for Gemini Studios to come to life. Naturally, it was a very joyous time. I felt the urge to share my joy and started painting this everyday as I was moving into my studio. Now, whenever I look at it, I smile!

The painting started out as a colorful drawing done with Neocolors. As I developed the painting with multiple layers of Golden acrylic paint and transparent colors, I created movement and the feeling of Joy using what I call “ happy colors.” The addition of glass beads added dimension to the painting.
