Lord of The Butterflies

Inspired by the ferocious glee of a six year old’s face, “Lord of the Butterflies” is a play on William Golding’s “Lord of the Flies”. Our tiny, feral heroine has knocked down the privacy fences, overthrown the HOA and called the children out for the summer. Back to wrecklessly exploring nature as a child in the summer, which like the lifespan of a butterfly is a fleeting time.
