Pumps Closed

Starting in 2016 I took my first picture of this closed gas station when I was on the way to a botanical garden.  The flag and red bench caught my attention.  In that first picture the American flag had a little rip in the top corner.  My next few visits the flag was ripped more and sometimes the bench was in a different position.  Once, in 2023, I drove up to the gas station and was disappointed not to see a flag.  I still took a picture and realized that the flag had fallen and was rolled up against the building.  The picture I’m submitting to this show is my most recent visit to the gas station.  Not he regular flag I was use to but still showing off the colors.  During this visit I stepped back to get in a little more of the the building.  I also noticed another flag, the one to the far left of the image.  Tattered and hanging off the pole.  Is this the end of the series, I don’t know.
