Surface Tension

Surface Tension is the green representation in the artist’s Seal in Every Color series. The series explores the properties of water and the human/nature connection. This piece depicts a shattered surface. Glass shares some properties with water, as it is an amorphous solid. Here, its broken surface is paired with the chaos of the sea foam. The ocean can hold both calmness and calamity, and this piece tries to capture that duality.
