Slavery is a deep, ugly stain on America’s history. It was unjustified and evil. Sadly, slavery is still here today. There are over 49 million slaves in the world today, of which 35% of them are children. The scars that laid bare on Whipped Peter’s back are present today in the hearts of the children subject to human trafficking today.
