“Scales” is a nod to my mama and daddy that live in Louisiana. With an elegance, these creatures coexist with so many living in the South. We fear them and yet are intoxicated by their strength, grace, and beauty. I hope this finds a home in which him swimming down their wall elevates the storytelling in their home and sets the stage for cultural exchange. I hope the iridescent light and texture captures the imagination of all that see it!
