I love working with crystals, glass, mica powders, and all thing shimmery. Building color in layers I can create depth to create an energetic wall sculpture. I have always been fascinated by outer space and the inner earth. I wanted to create a piece that honored both. For Outer Edges I used the crystals from inside the earth to fabricate the feeling of outer space. The way the mica pigments play and react with one another reminds me of how nebulas look.
