The work is an exploration of story-telling with art. It is a story within a story. The viewer is compelled to take a deep look into the piece. They are forced to not only investigate the snapshot this works presents, but to investigate the imagination the work catalyzes. However subtle, the title of the work suggest an incident to have occurred or happening of ill will. This along with the choice of abstraction in the illustrated motifs puts the viewer in an interesting dilemma as if they themselves are recalling the incident. The work is executed in a very loose manner that allows for the motifs to seem as though they are there, but simultaneous fading away from recognition. The viewer is left in the position of a witness to an incident, questioning their recollection of what really happened.
