Calling all visual artists to our fifth annual juried art exhibit — Artists Collective | Spartanburg

Artists Collective | Spartanburg is a non-profit organization - run for and by artists. Our mission is to support each other and provide opportunities for artists. Our annual juried competition is one way that we support the visual artists in the region

As a fellow arts agency, you are in a position to help artists in your area to know about this exhibit opportunity. Please help us spread the word to artists in your area. Entry into this competition is through our website: exhibitions.artistscollectivespartanburg.org Entry begins on July 1st.

Only original works of art produced within the past three years will be accepted in the following mediums:

Artists Collective | Spartanburg reserves the right to reject any work that differs dramatically from the image submitted.

Jewelry submissions must have their own secure vitrine.

All works to be hung must be securely wired, and if subject to damage, must be framed under Plexiglas or glass. No saw tooth or clip mounting will be accepted.

Three-dimensional work must sit solidly on a flat surface or be properly mounted for hanging, and must not exceed 36 inches in width or 72 inches in height, nor weigh more than 50 lbs. If works are not adequately prepared for display, they will be withdrawn from jurying.

Two-dimensional pieces should not exceed 36 inches by 48 inches including the frame. Please keep in mind that entries must be transported or shipped by the artists and prepared for hanging in a conventional gallery

Sale of Work

All entries are available for sale unless otherwise noted. A 30% commission will be charged by Artists Collective | Spartanburg. If a work is Not For Sale, "NFS" must be noted on your entry card. No "POR"s (Price On Requests) will be accepted. Works for sale must have price listed and will be sold as exhibited.

Liability

Artists Collective | Spartanburg does not assume responsibility for insuring the works of art. All artwork will be handled with care while in our possession.

Upon physical delivery of work after acceptance by online jurying, Artist Collective | Spartanburg reserves the right to refuse any entry at its discretion if the image presented online misrepresented or presents a danger or liability to the viewing public and also reserves the right to photograph and reproduce any entry submitted for educational or publicity purposes.

The receipt of an entry in the juried exhibition will constitute agreement by the artist to all conditions set forth in the prospectus.
