Morphic

Regina Bos

Morphic – The ebb and flow, as spheres morph and grow, always evolving. Anxious emotions wrap and weave through the process, flowing and transforming, creating Morphic.

Created using a traditional sculptural reed weaving technique, Morphic is skinned with delicate rice paper and colored with homemade walnut ink. The hanging spheres, crafted from wire and plaster, are  woven into the main form, embodying the continuous cycle of transformation and growth.

As a visual artist, my work explores themes of transformation, growth, and decay, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the cycles of life. I’m drawn to the intricate shapes and patterns found in nature and use these as a starting point for my compositions, creating art that is not only unique and unusual but also unforgettable.
